PRECICE Max

PRECICE Max Intramedullary Nail

Next-generation PRECICE nail designed for greater length capacity and durability.

How it works

PRECICE Max extends the PRECICE platform with increased length and strength. First US cases were performed in late 2023. Clinical data is still accumulating; long-term outcomes will be comparable to PRECICE 2 for most patients.

PRE-OP
Distraction sequence
Pre-op. Intact bone, hardware in place.
Osteotomy. Controlled break, ~1mm gap initiated.
Distraction. ~1 mm per day gap widens, new bone (callus) forms.
Consolidation. Bone hardens; hardware stays for 12–18 months.

Schematic. Bone geometry and hardware placement are illustrative; consult your surgeon for procedure specifics.
